| Training camp, 100 KV Transformer inaugurated | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Mar 20: In order to provide training to the girls in cutting and tailoring component, Social Welfare Department organized a camp which was inaugurated by MLA Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh at Village Karol Kundi, here today.
Appreciating the efforts of Social Welfare, MLA said that professional training is very important for today's generation especially the girls who also have to stand on their feet for earning better livelihood. In the inaugural ceremony large number of people including women and girls folks were present who were later on informed by District Social Welfare Officer, Varunjeet Charak about the different schemes including AASRA and marriage assistance for poor girls.
Meanwhile, MLA accompanied by Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) PDD and JE PDD, Ramban inaugurated 100 kv transformer at Govindpura Maitra, here today.
MLA while addressing a public meeting there assured public that all other genuine demands will be full filled soon on top priority. Langeh further said that all people friendly schemes launched by GoI under the leadership Narendra Modi are aimed to uplift the poor and downtrodden section of the society. |
