Mendhar, Mar 26 : A 10th class student has been apprehended by police for allegedly sodomising a six-year-old boy here.
Shahbaz Khan, son of Zakir Hussain of Chajra, Mendhar, was caught by his neighbour Imtiaz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Bashir, near his house and sodomised till he became unconscious.
The boy was later hospitalised by his family members. Medical officer, SDH. Mendhar, Dr Javed Ahmed said the body, who was sodomised, was discharged today from the hospital.
When parents of Shabaz went to Imtiaz's house, he stoned them and fled away.
Imtiaz is a 10th class student of a Higher Secondary School at Mendhar and was arrested by Mendhar police after the victim's parents lodged a complaint.
The accused was booked under sections 377, 376 and 327 of RPC.
When contacted, SDPO Shahid Naeem said the matter was serious in nature and the accused had been arrested. |
