One dead, ten including seven of family injured in road mishaps 4/1/2016 11:28:20 PM Udhampur, Apr 1 : One person was killed while seven of family members among ten got injured in three different road accidents reported from Udhampur District. According to police sources, a motorcyclist was killed while his pillion rider sustained critical injuries when the motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BH-3412, they were riding was hit by unknown vehicle at Nimbla in a Ramnagar road Udhampur. "The deceased has been identified as College Students Roshan Kumar (20) s/o Madhan Lal of Koghar Mallh while the injured, identified as Student of Hr.sec School Amit Kumar (18) s/o Raj Kumar of Koghar Mallh Ramnagar, was admitted to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur, police sources said. Meanwhile in another road accident a car bearing registration number PB08-7205 on its way from Doda to Jammu met with accident at Ka Morh near Moud National Highway Udhampur after driver lost the control over the vehicle. Police team was rushed to spot which evacuated the injured to District Hospital (DH) Udhampur from where doctors referred the injured to Govt Medical College (GMC) Jammu. The injured have been identified as Police Inspector (Security) Farooq Ahmed (43) s/o Qadir of Bhalesa Doda, his wife Jamina (37) his four daughters Nazia (7), Kafaitullah (4), Sajia (13), Insba (11) and Jamina (39) w/o Javed of Bhathindi Jammu. Meanwhile Udhampur police registered the case and investigation initiated. Yet in another road accident a Scooty was hit by unknown vehicle at Bye Pass National Highway in Udhampur.
