KPC criticizes Govt for harassing KPs

Jammu, Apr 1 : KPC took serious view of delaying attitude and tactics of State and centre Government towards the grave issue of Displaced Kashmiri Pandits related to their day today life and survival, including non--supply of ration and other grave issues, resulted that victim community is suffering tremendously and have reached now at the brim of starvation. These issues which were discussed in the meeting of KPC for immediate attention of the government were forcible implementation of National Food Security Act(NFSA) upon displaced Kashmiri Pandit community, hurdles in bifurcation of Ration Cards, delay in the issuance of permanent resident certificates and migrants' certificates for the admission of migrant students in the different technical colleges outside the State, non-supply of ration to camp and non-camp community and other issues. This meeting expressed their great concern and resentment for roping in displaced community through NFSA implementation ,hurdles in bifurcation of cards , delay in issuance of PRC and other issues. KPC Chief Kundan Kashmiri expressed hope that state and centre Govt. authorities including the Relief Commissioners office at Jammu , which is node Agency for displaced people would play a vital role in redressing these burning issues of victim KP community . He also appealed the Governor of J and K state for personally intervening into the matter for ensuring release of ration in favour of the Migrant Community as per previous scales of 9 Kg rice and 2Kg Atta and 1Kg Sugar to each soul of the family.
