Protest against PHE, PDD held 4/25/2016 11:20:27 PM Early Times Report SAMBA, Apr 25 : Members of the Maha Sabha Samba and local citizens today staged a protest against Power Development Department (PDD) and Public Health Engineering Department (PHE) for unscheduled power curtailment and erratic supply of drinking water in the Samba town for past 13 days and blocked Jammu Pathankot National Highway Samba for one and half hours. Hundreds of People assembled in Chohata Chowk and move in the shape of rally. Men, Women and Childrens took also participated in the Protest rally raised a slogan and Shouting against Local MLA Samba Devinder Kumar Manyal and District Administration. Registering their protest, the activists of Maha Sabha Samba activists took out protest rally which started from Chohata Chowk Samba and Passing through Main bazaar,Hari Singh Chowk and reached National Highway Samba. People blocked the vehicular movement on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway.Long traffic queues were witnessed during the protest . The rally was led by Ravi Khajuria, President of Maha Sabha Samba.
