JAMMU, May 4: In a PIL, seeking handing over of the Kishtwar deputy commi-ssioner's office complex for the use of district courts, the state advocate general today told a high court division bench of Justice Dhiraj Singh Thakur and Justice B S Walia that the shifting would take place very soon. "The new office complex of DC, Kishtwar, is ready and the shifting shall take place very soon, the advocate general said, assuring the bench that soon after the shifting was done, the DC's old office complex would be handed over to judiciary. The counsel for Bar Association, Kishtwar, which has filed the petition, submitted that in view of the completion of the new building of Kishtwar DC office, directions were required to be issued to the DC to handover the old building complex to judiciary. He apprised the court of the apprehensions that the whole complex might not be handed over to judiciary as had been hinted by the district administration recently. The bench, on the request of advocate general, adjourned the matter till week commencing May 16, 2016 and directed that a copy of the today's order be provided to the advocate general under the signatures of Bench Secretary.
