Students take a look photo exhibition at Kala Kendra | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 6: Students of GCW Gandhi Nagar, KC International and DCM Public School Paloura on Friday took a look photo exhibition of heritage structures displayed at Kala Kendra. According to press release, it was an eye opener for many as several sites depicted in the pictures now don't actually exist on the ground. The school students showed their enthusiasm and also took down notes on heritage houses. Today was second day of three 'Day Photo Exhibition' of heritage structures of Jammu themed "Dying Heritage" and titled "Check and Mate". Over one hundred and fifty rare pictures taken by Sunny Dua are on display at Kala Kendra which was inaugurated by Minister of State for Culture and education Priya Sethi at Kala Kendra on May 5, wherein Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Mandeep Kaur had presided. Earlier, the exhibition was visited by school children of Jammu Sanskriti, Lawrence Public School, Presentation Convent School and Oriental Academy who were made to get connected with heritage. |
