KV Lakhanpur celebrates Annual Day 5/6/2016 9:49:57 PM Early Times Report Kathua, May 6: Kendriya Vidyalaya Lakhanpur today celebrated Annual Day here at Army Auditorium with full enthusiasm in which Brig Bimal Monga, Commander 401, Artillery Brigade, Chairman VMC was Chief Guest. Shukla Monga blessed the gathering as Guest of Honour in programme. On arrival of chief guest and guest of honour D R Patel, Principal of school welcome by presenting bouquet. The inauguration of the function was done by Brigd Bimal Monga by lighting the lamp in front of Sarswati Pratima. The principal highlighted the achievements of the school during the session. The students presented cultural items comprising Action Song by primary children, Gujarati Dance, Himachali Folk Dance, Hindi Skit on theme 'Beti Bacho-Beti Padhao'. The patriotic dance and Punjabi folk dance' Bhangra and Giddah' attracted the audience. The chief Guest and Guest of Honour gave away the prizes to students on their excellent performance in CCA and Academics. The Chief Guest focused on the responsibilities of teachers and parents in the all-round development of students. P K.Sharma thanked the guests, parents and participants.
