Two day workshop on Yoga held at GDC Khour 5/6/2016 11:47:34 PM Early Times Report Khour, May 6: A two day work shop on Yoga organized by the NSS unit of GDC Khour came to conclusion . The work shop was inaugurated by enlightening the traditional lamp followed by the Sarswati Vandana. Prof. (Dr.) Asha Gupta addressed the students and participants in detail about advantages of Yoga. In this workshop about 120 students and college teachers participated. Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Gupta, fellow DAAD west Germany and Dean Academics ISCAS, University of Jammu, Jammu was the resource person. He demonstrated about 21 Asans that cure many diseases and very much beneficial for the Physical & Mental Health. He also delivered a lecture on the topic "Relationship of Hinduism with Islam through Yoga". Vote of thanks was conveyed by Dr. K.R. Sharma NSS Programme Officer.
