DDC directs CMO to initiate probe into Shaheen's death 5/7/2016 12:16:18 AM MS Nazki Early Times Report Poonch, May 6: In order to find out facts that lead to the death of middle aged woman in Mendhar the other day district Development Commissioner directed Chief Medical Officer to constitute a team of medicos to find out the truth in the death of pregnant lady and submit the report to his office by the Monday, the sources said here today. Chief Medical Officer Poonch Dr Mumtaz Bhatti has been directed to constitute a team of doctors who will probe into the Shaheen's death who had come to SDH Mendhar for delivering but was referred to DH Poonch where after delivering the male baby she bleed profusely. She again was referred to GMCH Jammu as there was no blood available in DH Poonch, but on the way she scumbed and later on her body also died, the sources said. District Development Commissioner MH Malik maintained that one senior officers of his office will also investigate the death case of Shaheen, asked her relatives to record their statements within a day before the officers who along with the facts found in the negligence death of the body will also submit his report before the DDC within stipulated time and action under law will be initiated if anyone found guilty.
