APS Akhnoor hosts Northern Command APS workshop 5/18/2016 10:18:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 18: APS Akhnoor hosted two day workshop of all Army Public Schools under Northern Command on the subject "Identifying Students with Learning Disabilities". Around twenty participants from all Army Public School are participating in this workshop. Chief Guest for the workshop were Meena Joshi and Brig Rajendra Joshi. They were received by Principal KCS Mehta and & Col UK Shrivastava. Brig Rajendra Joshi while declaring the workshop open stress on teachers to make the workshop fully interactive and use various strategies to Identifying students with disabilities, while it is physically challenged, dexlascia, speaking & listening disabilities. Resource persons for 1st day workshop were Inakshi Sharma. She gave interactive presentation on speech therapy (Problems & Remedial Measures) & 2nd resource person was Talitha Philip. She spoke on the topic Strategies to address Learning disabilities among children. Workshop was totally interactive and all participants interact and gave their suggestions.
