rajouri, May 24: The Swachh Bharat Campaign apparently has gone in vain as it is the filth and piles of garbage that welcome visitors to the main place in Rajouri district i.e. Office of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rajouri which witnesses large number of visitors and it would not be wrong to say, it has turned into a dirty and unhygienic place. According to reports, the careless approach towards its duties to maintain the city clean by the Municipal Committee Rajouri is resulting city into bad shape and adding problems for common man in Rajouri city.
"The heaps of garbage lying outside DC Office Rajouri is a clear cut indication of careless attitude of Municipal Committee Rajouri, leaves an effect that for Municipal Committee Rajouri the much hyped Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by Prime Minister has no significance. "The Municipal Committee is least bothered to clean the district headquarter as one can see heaps of garbage scattered around front of DC office.
Here it needs to mention that the area also houses office DIG Police and SSP Rajouri, XeN PWD besides the office of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri and hundreds of visitors visit this area but there is no provision of cleanliness.
While expressing their resentment some locals briefly lamented if this is the condition of DC office what would be the scenario of other areas. |
