Tourists face a lot of problems, Tourism Department in slumber 5/24/2016 10:56:56 PM Early Times Report Samba, May 24: Locals and tourists from outside the state are facing a lot of problems in Samba district as the tourism related information are never available to the people and that too when the chief minister and deputy chief minister are often claiming to launch new era of development to explore new tourist spots to sustain the tourism in the Jammu region also. Almost 30- 40 tourist buses halt on daily basis at revered Chichi Mata temple in Samba to pay obeisance at the shrine. Ironically the place lacks due facilities and leaves the visitors to face a lot of problems. Some of the visitors and tourists at the temple have demand that the tourism department should set up a mini TRC office at Chichi Mata Temple to benefit the people visiting from outside the state. Locals alleged despite repeated requests the said department has failed to initiate in this direction. Another alleged that through there Tourism Department Complex in Samba they can setup a mini information office at Chichi Mata which attracts hundreds of pilgrims on each day but the authorities have failed to do so. Pertinent to mention here the Samba as historic town has many religious and leisure tourism spots including Mansar, Saruinsar twin lakes, revered shrine of Baba Chamblyal at International Border (IB) and etc.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
