JJM demands ration in CAPD depot 5/24/2016 11:06:21 PM Early Times Report kathua, May 24: A large number of frustrated people under the banner of Jan Jagiriti Manch and demanded ration supply in CAPD depot ward number 16 that allegedly curtailed for last few months resulting panic among weaker section of the ward. The protesters blocked college road outside the office of DDC Kathua and were sloganeering 'CAPD down- down, Distt Administration down- down" Kamal Kishore, member Jan Jagriti Manch, informed that people had not got ration from CAPD depot from last few months resulting panic among weaker section/laborer class who are completely depend upon CAPD supply. He informed that AD Foods, ADC and TSO ensured to provide ration supply within days but months have been gone to restore supply. He appealed DDC Kathua to restore ration supply. A large number of people who received flour from other depots lodged complaint that less quantity and sub-standard flour is allegedly being distributed. They alleged that CAPD and Mills owners voluntarily supply sub-standard flour to make commissions. When contacted to AD Food Kathua, he informed that the ration for ward no. 17 has been regularly supplied but where it goes, he can't say anything.
