VHP protests against Director Tourism Srinagar 5/24/2016 11:53:40 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 24: Vishva Hindu Parishad(VHP) today stages protest against Director Tourism Srinagar by changing the ancient, historical name of Hari Parvat as Koh- e- maran in the advertisement here at Residency Road . VHP president Leela Karan Sharma said that though it is also learnt that they are in a mood to change the name of Shankrachary as Takht-e-suleman and Anantnag as Islamabaad which can't be tolerated. These places are in existence when Islam has not born and these are the monuments of Hindu civilization. Sharma also informed the media that it is not understood how the Director without any Government order has taken this extreme step to disturb the communal harmony between the two communities and with the intention to end the sign of Hindu culture from the valley. Sharma warn the State Government to immediately sack the Director and withdraw the advertisement falling which VHP will be forced to get on the roads to protest for protecting the heritage of Hindu civilization in the valley and in that event there will be only tourism department without any tourist.
