POJK DP's Front hold protest Rally 5/24/2016 11:53:47 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 24: PoJK DPs' Front held protest demonstration here today to project their demands including reservation for their wards and stipend to non-camp DPs at par with Kashmir Pandits (KPs). Amid slogans and carrying banners, large number of PoJK DPs assembled at press club and demanded redressal of their long pending demands. The crowed wanted to move towards the side of Div Com but the Police did not allow them. During this struggle the crowed sat on the road and the President of the Front, Captain Yudhvir Singh Chib disclosed the present position of the case to all present Captain Chib briefed that our Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narender Modi Ji announced as relief package of Rs.2,000 crore rupees for POJK DP's. Six months have passed / but no action has been taken by state governemnt so far. Chib also briefed about the Notice which was published in News Paper Dated 19 March 2016 by the DC Jammu, totally rejected by all DP's of POJK due to lack of documentation and lengthy procedure. He told that there is a need of simple procedure and minimum documents required. Now the DP's are awaiting for the next notification which is required for their further requirements and filling the claim form which are required by the State Government and Central Government. We request to state government, arrange simple procedure shortly and issued new notice. The other demands include registering all families of DP's and given compensation minimum of Rs 30 lakhs per family. They also demanded 15 percent reservation in Colleges, Universities, Professional Colleges, Technical Colleges, IlTs etc. on the pattern of Kashmiri Migrants in Central States. Jai Pal Sharma, Sakandya Devi, RS Chib, Ch Sukhjinder, Kulbir Singh Chib, Kuldeep Singh, Pawan Slathia and Rasal Singh were also spoke on the occasion.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
