KPC disagrees with statement of MoS PMO Dr. Jitender Singh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, May 24: President Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC), Kundan Kashmiri, while re--acting the statement of Dr. Jinterder Singh, MOS, PMO that Kashmiri Pandits to be inspired to go back to their place of births and to composite culture of Kashmir valley, stated that this statement is against the aspirations and long standing demand of Displaced Kashmiri Pandits who have once for all rejected their return to valley at their previous locations or to various clusters. Displaced KP,s are only ready to go back at one place settlement with in the ambit of Indian constitution, which is only pre--condition and solution acceptable to the displaced community for their return. He further said that passage of shrine bill, rehabilitation of over--aged youths, nullification of distress sale and other grave issues would be important confidence building measures to heal the wounds of victim KP community and will be obligatory on the part of Govt. and political parties in helm of affairs to redress these problems of the community at the earliest. He demanded that urgent measures to be taken to discuss and debate the modelities for one place settlement within the ambit of Indian constitution and abrogation of Article 370 and take KP community in confidence in this regard. |
