Govt fails to release Rs 40 Crores of Central industrial package | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 28: In an Executive Committee of Bari Brahmana Industries Association (BBIA), President of the association, Lalit Mahajan alleged that government has so far failed to release pending claims amounting to approximately Rs. 40 Crores of central package of incentives. According to press release, the members presented in the meeting raised serious concern in respect of non release of funds for the sanctioned cases of CIS/Interest/ Insurance Subsidy cases for the period 2015-16 due to which the working of the Industrial Units are suffering very badly as they are not in a position to repay the installments of term loans resulting NPA of their Bank account and their working capital limit stands exhausted resulting serious financial crunch. We request Finance Minister, Haseeb A. Drabu & Industries & Commerce Minister, Chander Parkash to kindly take up the matter with Nirmala Sitharaman, Minister of State (Independent Charge) Ministry of Commerce & Industry (Independent Charge) Govt. of India for the immediate release of funds in favour of JKDFC to clear the pending sanctioned claim amount of the Industrial Units of J&K. |
