Ex-PDP minister glorifies militants funerals 5/29/2016 12:02:54 AM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report SRINAGAR, May 28: Former Revenue Minister in Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed government and Member Legislative Assembly from Chadoora Javed Mustafa Mir today while debating on motion of thanks on Governor's address glorified the funeral of militants who got killed in an encounters with the forces. Mir claimed that thousands of people participated in these funeral as compared to mainstream politicians and demanded that there is need to address the Kashmir issue and justified the trust showed by the mainstream politicians (Referring to J&K's accession to India) added that any delay in addressing the Kashmir problem will snowball into a major catastrophe and after 10-15 years even if we want to stop it; we will not be able to do so. Referring to participation of thousands of people in militant funerals, Mir said when he would die, he doesn't know how many people will attend his funeral, may be few; but the trend that thousands of people are attending funeral of militants is worrisome added that people have stopped fearing bullets and ask the Union and state governments to take it seriously. This is a spark (Kashmir issue), if not addressed, it could lead to burn of whole subcontinent, said Mir added that everyone from Congress to BJP will have to talk about this issue and solve it before it goes out of control. Mir also justified late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed's decision to form government with BJP and appealed Prime Minister Narendra Modi to solve the Kashmir issue. He said that late Chef Minister had said that he (Mufti) will talk to PM Modi because BJP had got huge mandate in India added that "My leader (referring to Mufti Sayeed) bleed from inside his heart.
