NPP protests against PDD for unscheduled power cuts 5/28/2016 10:38:32 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 28: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKMPP) today staged protest demonstration against Power Development Department for unscheduled power cuts here at Exhibition ground. Speaking on the occasion, Zonal President Neeraj Gupta said that every year in summer the Jammuities faces the problem of unscheduled power cuts. There are some areas where power cuts are more than 18 hours in a day. In these hot sunny days the people are facing acute shortage of electricity. Minister for Power had promised to the people of Jammu region that the Government will provide the 24x7 electricity but the people are not even getting the electricity for at least 12 hours a day.
