| Locals allege additional charges to Teh Mankote affecting usual 'official works' | | | MS Nazki

Poonch, June 20: Alleging that normal functioning of routine works are being affected in Tehsil Mankote, the people of area today said that Tehsildar Mankote has entrusted additional charges to Tehsildar Mankote which virtually is affecting normal functioning in Tehsil Office.
Sources said Tehsildar Mankote Shehzad Khan has been given additional charges of Tehsildar Balakot, Tehsildar Haveli-Poonch and Mandi besides incharge Sub division Mendhar by the district administration where as the fact remains he fails to give a sufficient time to people who according to sources face hardships due to absence of tehsildar as many people had to attest their documents in the revenue office.
"I have been running pillar to post for PRC certificate as Tehsildar is not available in the office," said a local youth who had to obtain PRC certificate.
Many people lamented that Tehsildar Shahzad has failed to come to the expectations of people as everywhere he is unable to give the time.
Expressing concerns over the problems being faced by the people, Chairman Mendhar Youth Club Advocate Nadem Khan has urged Revenue Minister and DDC Poonch to intervene into this matter and redress the sufferings of people and get Tehsildar Mankote relieved from his additional charges and immediately posted him to parent posting i.e. Tehsildar Mankote. He also urged for filling up of vacancies of tehsildars for Balakote, Mandi and Poonch Haveli.
