Jammu, June 20: Reasi police today claimed to have arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 30 grams of charas from their possession. "The Identities of accused have been established as Rattan Singh s/o Soba Ram of Laddaa of District Udhampur and Rafiq s/o Mohd Sadiq of Thesil Dhera Baba, Police sources said
"Acting on specific information Sub Inspector Maninder Singh, Incharge Police Post Banganga raised a special naka at banganga and intercepted two persons, police said.
"During frisking, the police team recovered 30 grams of charas from their possession", said police source adding that the duo has been arrested while the drugs has been seized. A case in this connection has been registered and further investigation is on to ascertain the source from where they bought the drugs. |
