jammu, June 20:A self-styled tantrik among two people have been arrested in connection with desecration of religious place in Nanak Nagar locality of this winter capital of the state."We were investigating the matter and after going through the call record details of the accused, two more people were found to be involved in the incident which took place on June 14," police sources here today said.
They said that as per eye witnesses, the accused was talking over phone and asking for Rs 500 for accomplishing the task of desecration of temple.
"A self styled tantrik from Junagarh, UP and his accomplice were taken into custody last night while the matter is under investigation," police added.The accused have been arrested under the Public Safety Act. |
