J&K Grameen Bank organized promotional programme 6/20/2016 11:49:24 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 20: J&K Grameen Bank under the Chairmanship of RK Chhibber has organized a promotional programme in Swankha, holy place of Baba Sidh Goria on 20th June 2016, Monday. The programme was organized by MF&FI Department in coordination with the Area Office Samba and BO Swankha Morh in order to promote the financial literacy and to bring the awareness among the people. People at length were informed regarding the benefits of social security schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana. They were further informed about new Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (Prime Minister's Crop Insurance Scheme) in which the premium rates to be paid by the farmers have been brought down substantially so as to enable more farmers avail insurance cover against crop loss on account of natural calamities and thrust was also given on activation of RuPay cards, Education loan and Housing loan.
