Traders selling fake handicraft items penalized 6/20/2016 11:52:44 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 20:An inspection team of Quality Control Enforcement Wing of Handicrafts Department today inspected various business establishments selling handicraft items at Patnitop tourist spot. The inspection team found some of the dealers indulging in cheating the tourists by selling machine made items in the name of Kashmir Handicrafts while as some other dealers were doing business without registration under the provisions of Tourist Trade Act, 1978/82. The inspection team imposed a fine of Rs 8000 on the erring traders for violation of Tourist Trade Act, 1978/82 and asked them to register their businesses with the Directorate of Handicrafts Quality Control Wing.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
