Identity of 'dead female' ascertained 6/20/2016 11:54:03 PM Early Times Report Jammu, June 20: Police today claimed to have ascertained the identity of a female who was found dead under mysterious circumstances on Sunday at Jeevan Nagar falling under the jurisdiction of Satwari police station. Police sources said, "Identity of the deceased has been established as Phoola Devi w/o late Rasaal Singh of Bhaderwah presently at Bantalab. Police sources said that after identity of the deceased was ascertained, in-laws and parents of the deceased had altercation over cremation of the deceased. "The parents of the deceased were insisting cremation in Jammu while in-laws were in view of cremation at Bhaderwah, police sources said, adding, "after post-mortem, police have kept the body in the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H)." Sources further maintained that the police asked both (in-laws & parents) of the deceased to decide the place of cremation after that the body would be handed over to them. However, police have already initiated investigation to ascertain exact reasons behind the death of the woman who allegedly left the house at Bantalab at 4 am ion Sunday and later was found dead under mysterious circumstances.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
