STA submits memorandum to Director BOSE | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 20: Sanskrit Teachers Association submitted its memorandum to the Director Board of School Education, seeking fulfillment of their demands. According to press release, in the memorandum Dr Vinod Kumar Shastri alleged that in the state of Jammu and Kashmir step motherly treatment is meted out to the Ancient Vedic Language (SANSKRIT). "During D.P.C, process State Recruitment Board is not considering 'Acharya' degree from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. To shun out regularized teachers of R-E-Ts from the list of lecturers' promotion for the post of Sanskrit. During the Scrutiny and verification of Documents of R-E-Ts teachers, Officials writing on their files as 'Study Centre' in place of 'Deemed University'. The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission is not recognizing the degree of 'Acharya' from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan during the selection process- of College lecturers for the post of Sanskrit subject", the STA demanded. "The negligence attitude and approach of the state government towards the Sanskrit which creates horrible and terrible situation amongst the Sanskrit students, scholars, doctorates and readers", he said. Dr Shastri said that Sanskrit is stated and noted as mother of all the languages. Sanskrit is playing a vital role in the development of Indian languages and in the preservation of the cultural heritage in India. |
