JKSAC welcomes BJP's working committee resolution 6/21/2016 12:19:07 AM Jammu, June 20: Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) in a meeting held at Jammu welcomed the resolution passed by BJP in its working committee meeting wherein it has been stressed upon the government by the members for speedy and early implementation of Rs. 2000 crore package which has already been delayed as it was announced for the displaced persons of 1947. According to press release, while addressing the meeting Gurdev Singh (President) urged upon the high-ups in BJP particularly parliament members from Jammu region to follow the package and mount pressure on GOI honestly and seriously to get the amount sanctioned as the package in lying with Ministry of Finance of GOI as learnt. He reminded the BJP that it should not be nearly a political slogan / move to appease and keep the DP's in humour rather it should be followed in letter and spirit to its logicant and should not prove only a lip service. He further said that the announcement of this package by Prime Minister has acknowledged the legitimacy of the demand of DP's for compensation of their left-out properties in PoK and kindled the ray of hope for the resolution of their issues on one-hand and on other-hand it has created confusion, chaos and disillusionment among DP's as announcement has been made without any road-map. He asserted that decades old legitimate settlement issue of DP's of 1947 from PoK including compensation for their left-out properties have never been taken seriously and judicially by any of the govt. of the state despite of many commitments given from time to time.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
