Jammu, June 20: Gurukul Vidyapeeth Group of Institutes located near Banur on Chandigarh-Rajpura road has launched education support programme for the girls students of all categories of J&K under Beti Padhao Abhiyan. Addressing a press conference, here today, GM Gurukul Vidyapeeth Group of Institutes, Colonel Narinder Sujlana (Retd) elaborated that those girls whose parents /guardian's annual income is less than one lakh and are not central/state govt employees are entitled to absolutely free education in any stream in their Institutes under this Abhiyan. He explained that Dr. Manmohan Kumar Garg, Chairman of Gurukul Vidyapeeth has conveyed that even those boys and girls who do not qualify under this abhiyan can take admission under a highly discount fee structure including hostel facility. GS Bhatia, Counseling Executive elucidated that separate quota of seats have been kept for those belonging to minorities, displaced Kashmiri. |
