Jammu, July 7: Seven days NSS camp organized by Government Higher Secondary School, Budhi on Thursday concluded at Village Narayanpur of Block, Barnoti.
According to press release, the camp was organized under the supervision of Dharam Paul and special camp was commenced on July 1 on the eve of Van Mahotsav in which the volunteers planted sapling of various plants in the village.
In this special camp around 50 volunteers were participated and adopted village Narayanpur for carried out plantation drive and completed the target of planting 200 trees supplied by Social Forestry Department Range Kathua.
The volunteers also spread the message of planting trees among the masses by organizing various rallies, slogan writing and painting competitions during the camp.
On the last day, the camp was concluded in which principal of GHSS Budhi, Naresh Sharma and Sarpanch Budhi North, Angrez Chand, Sarpanch Budhi South, Shiv Ram Sharma, Sarpanch Narayanpur (Nagrota), Kamal Sharma, Sham Lal, Forestor Social Foresrty Kathua, were present. |
