Cross LoC Traders stake holders call on Minister for I&C 'Ganga' | | | Early Times Report
poonch, July 7: During the visit of Chander Prakash Ganga, Minister Industries and Commerce J&K, a delegation of Cross LoC Traders and also of aspirants of this trade called on the visiting minister at Dak-Banglow Poonch to apprise him with their issues and problems. While apprising the minister concerned about their problems, the Cross LoC traders apprised him that trade initially was started by some odd 303 persons which went well till the year 2014. "But after that this trade has become a victim of lobby system, the delegation said, alleging, "some of the traders managed to cut down the member of traders from 303 to 183 by way of their vested mal practices which allegedly was done by them by way of contacting the traders of other side." They said that this has deprived a large check of our traders from their livelihood and jeopardizing the very essence of proposal and spirit of the trade. The delegation of traders appealed to Minister to include the new faces in this trade who apply for it and fulfill the requisite conditions. They demanded inclusion of the new aspirants who have applied for joining LoC Trade and have completed all formalities including Police Verification. The delegation was comprised of Krishan Singh, Imtiaz Salaria, Anil Phool, Mohd Ameen Magray, Kamaljeet Sing, Nishu Sharma and others. After paying keen listening to their issues, the Minister Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga assured the delegation that their genuine demands will be considered appropriately. |
