Locals protest against low voltage 7/7/2016 10:45:56 PM Early Times Report udhampur, July 7: Complaining low voltage in their locality, the people of Jakhani today protested against Power Development Department (PDD) problems of heavy curtailment and low voltage in this area and sought early redressal. Locals alleged that there is just one low-capacity transformer which has to cater the needs of big locality resulting in low voltage, Sayed Peer Gulzar Shah said that Power Development Department (PDD) has imposed scehdulked and unscheduled power curtailment which is affecting normal life in their village. Locals also said that they have repeatedly brought their issue into the notice of concerned authorities but all in vain resaons best known to the authorities at the helms. Seeking early restoration of smooth power supply, locals namely Barakt Ali, Saleem Chisti, Shoket Ali Khan, Dalbir Singh, Parveen Kumar, Liaquat Ali, Jhon Wilson and Naseeb Singh demanded restoration of adequate power supply in the area.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
