Avoid favoritism while preparing proposals of Teachers Masters: TJF | | | Early Times Report
rajouri, July 7: Apprehending of irregularities in transfers adjustment of teachers and Masters In Rajouri District, the Teachers Joint Front (TJF) urged authorities to avoid favouritsim and added some officials at helms of nodal committee allegedly are engaged in undue means. In a meeting of Teachers Joint Front (TJF) held under the chairmanship of Shahbaz Khan, the members of TJF have urged upon Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri to make all transfers strictly as per transfer norms as any political interference or undue favouritism shall not be acceptable to the teachers community. TJF leaders namely Rajinder Sharma Ab Hamid, Mukhtar Ahmed in a joint statement stated that first priority must be given to female teachers working out of locality at Tralla, Gurdan Bala Dhanwan Doongi, fatehpoor etc. They however alleged that the earlier transfers had been made in blatant violation of the transfer policy and against the norms set by a high level committee constituted in this regard in February last. The teachers body have urged the Governor of State to intervene in the matter and to direct the concerned authorities to effect the transfer by following the strict rules otherwise they will have to face trade union action and agitation. Any dissemination with teachers Masters on the basis of caste creed or due to political influence is not acceptable. |
