Dr Manohar condemns govt's decision to release 344 stone pelters

Jammu, July 7: Senior Congress leader, Former minister and General Secretary PCC, Dr Manohar lal Sharma on Thursday condemned the coalition government's decision for releasing 344 stone pelters without scrutinizing the harshness of their offences.
According to press release, Sharma said that the BJP and PDP both the parties are in government and the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti is hell bent to implement her agenda compromising the national security for which the BJP was committed to the people of the nation, whether the issue of release of militants, stone pelters or evacuvation of bunkers from the Srinagar, CM is taking all the decisions on her own and the coalition partner become mute spectators on these issues.
He alleged that however during the Assembly and Parliament elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi open said that either there was the 'Sarkar of Baap Beti or Baap Beta' both compromised the national security and looted the innocent awaam of Jammu and Kashmir and why they are mute spectators and not speak even a single word in this issue. Sharma further said that it is pertinent to mention here the stone pelters who were arrested after hectic efforts of security forces let free by the present government and the situation of state will again deteriorate in coming days. Dr Sharma strongly lamented the BJP Government in the centre as well as the BJP PDP coalition government in the state for encouraging the anti national elements by the suo moto release of the all the stone pelter without scrutinizing the impact of their offence which will further worsen the condition of law and order in the state.
