JU's NGEU organizes rally, closes JU gate 7/7/2016 11:00:21 PM Early Times Report Jammu, July 7: Criticizing the apathetic attitude of the University administration, the Non-Gazetted Employees Union of University of Jammu (NGEU) on Thursday organized a rally and closed e varsity's gate in favour of their long pending demands. According to press release, the protest organized under the leadership of its president, Vijay Kumar and the protestors were chanting slogans in favour of their demands. They alleged that last year the Vice Chancellor, Prof. R.D. Sharma had ensured the employee that all the demands of NGEU are in my pocket but unfortunately no demand has been fulfilled.They alleged that the University Authorities did not create any posts under different categories for the last 20 years. Many incumbent workers who have been working on casual basis have completed their 21 years services as casual labourer and the concerned authority has been failed to regularize them. President of the organisation urged the Prime Minister of India to kindly intervene in this matter and give suitable suggestions to the University Authorities so that a congenial atmosphere to be created in the campus.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
