SRINAGAR, July 7: In a major reshuffle, DGP K Rajendra today ordered the transfers and postings of 46 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs).
Civil Defence DSP Tejinder Kour is transferred and posted as DSP in IRP 17th Bn against an available vacancy. DSP Kuldeep Khajuria, awaiting orders of posting, is posted as DSP, Civil Defence, Jammu, vice Tejinder Kour.
While Amran Farooq, DSP CID (Hqrs) is transferred and posted as DSP in IRP 2nd Bn against an available vacancy, Feroz Ahmad, DSP (Hqrs), Baramulla, is posted as DSP, CID CI, Srinagar city against a vacant post.
Noor-ul-Hassan Parray, DSP, IRP 6th Bn, and Nissar Hussain, DSP, CID CI, Baramulla, swap positions. Majeeb-ur-Rehman, DSP (Hqrs), Poonch, and Mohan Lal, DSP (Hqrs), Reasi, also swap positions.
Imtyaz Ahmad Rather, DSP, JKAP 13th Bn, is posted as DSP (DAR), Kulgam, vice P N Tikoo who is posted as DSP, CID CI, Ramban, vice Ashok Singh who goes to JKAP 8th Bn, replacing Ravinder Singh.
