Jammu, July 14: In a bid to hide undue promotions given to an Office Orderly elevated as Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, the social welfare department has transferred him to Centre Jail Ambphala, against the post of Social Worker.
Sources in Social Welfare department said after two weeks when Early Times carried a news report regarding elevation, Nissar Hussain Office Orderly to Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, the blue eyed officer, son-in-law of former Director Social Welfare Jammu, was silently sent on deputation in Central Jail.
"There was a post of Social Worker, in Central Jail Ambphalla, since every one in the department was aware about under promotion given to him, in a bid to put the matter under carpet, the officer was sent on deputation against a lower post in the Jail", sources said.
They further said that after retirement of his father-in-law the officer has good connection in the civil secretariat to shield himself. "He was sent on deputation on June 28, 2016 following pressure by an officer to rank of Special Secretary", they added. Challenging his appointment sources said that the officer earlier appointed in violation of district cadre post. "He was belongs to district Rajouri and recruited in Jammu against district cadre post", they added.
"Nisaar was appointed as Office Orderly vide number CDPO/V/445-48/93 dated 4/3/1993, and regularized on March 9, 1993, just five days after his appoint on adhoc, vide order number CDPO/V/634-38/93, dated 29/4/1993", documents available with ET read.
Astonishingly, he was elevated to the post of Tehsil Social Welfare Officer, vide vide order number DSWJ/Estt/10370-82/15.
Ridiculing, the undue benefits extended to blue eyed, sources said that he got regularized after five days' service and successfully got another promotion in 2011. |
