| Relief holders highlight demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 14: All Kashmiri Migrant Relief Holders held a meeting under the chairmanship under presidentship of Ajay Bhat in which various problems including how relief holders will be benefitted if there was any return policy with permanent rehabilitation were discussed.
During the meeting the participants demanded compensation to Kashmiri Migrants @ 5 Lakh per year of exile of last 27 years of left over property and one time compensation and permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Migrants by taking Relief holders into confidence.
Other demands highlighted were compensation to each over-aged person who was 20-30 years old at the time of mass migration in 1990 with 50 lakhs each, clear encroachments upon property of KP's at the earliest which has been encroached by land grabbers, enhancing relief upto Rs. 400/- per day per soul against current Rs 83.33 per day per soul and release of list of those who have applied and given interview for different posts under PM's Package and etc.
Among those present in the meeting included Vice President of organization M K Raina, Kundan Raina, (Organiser) Behari Lal (Secretary) Sunil Raina, Rajinder Pandit, M.L Ganjoo o N Moti, Sunil Bhat, Rajesh Kumar, Mohan Lal and Raju Bhan (Co-organiser). |
