Jammu, July 14: Expressing dismay over stop of Shri Amarnath Yatra, activists of National Conference (NC) today stages protest demonstration under the leadership of NC district president Ajit Kumar Sharma.
According to press release, Sharma said that PDP-BJP government has failed to provide security to pilgrims caused vehicles damaged by stone pelters.
They alleged that couple of days back government had released 634 stone pelters and has root cause of stone pelting on Amarnath Yatris.
Provincial Secretary Youth National Conference, Harpreet Singh Sethi said that current government fails on all front, ask why so called nationalist was on silent mode now a days.
"The BJP only befooling the peoples of Jammu province on the name of 'Hindutva' nowadays they forget the poll promises and enjoying the power corridors in the lapse of PDP', he said, adding that incumbent government not only released the stone pelters unconditionally but also gave safe passage to the militants along with their families via Nepal route who were settled in Pakistan twenty years ago.
