| Congress leads protest against PDD, PHE held | | | Early Times Report
Samba, July 14: Youth Congress activities along with local residents from Chak Manga Rakwal staged a protest demonstration against the PHE and PDD Department in Samba Chowk for erratic supply of power and water in our residence. Unscheduled power cuts continues in samba town and adjoining areas the people of Samba town alleged that the present ruling PDP-BJP Coalition Government has failed to fulfill its promise to provide uninterrupted power supply to the people reeling under harsh conditions. Ajay Kumar a local from Samba said the peaks summer months are more difficult and the Power cut increases day to day. Meanwhile in his address Youth Congress Vice President Sandeep Sharma said that the people of Samba town and adjoining areas are facing various problems due to unscheduled power cuts and water crisis. There is no schedule of electricity common people are facing acute shortage of power cuts ranging between night time. The protestors warned the district administration to face the dire consequences if the problem water and power scarcity is not sorted out at earliest. |
