Grabbers eye on Sheep from land in Balnoi | | | MS Nazki
Mendhar, July 19: Encroachers seem to have spread their roots all over the state which can be gauged by the fact that no they eye on a sheep farm land to be grabbed in Balnoi area in Poonch district, sources said here today. Sheep from land spread on over 2800 Kanals of land in Mankote area which have been encroached by few blue eyed and influential's and at some places concrete structures too have been created sources, said, adding in this connection six people have been identified against whom FIR stands registered in Police Station Mendhar but no action has been taken so far, they added. On the complaint of people Naib Tehsildar Mankote Mohd Munir Qazi wrote a letter vide No. DQ/MKy/94 dated July 11. 2016 to Assistant Director Sheep Farm DC Sharma stating not to allow any person to raise any construction it is demarcated by the Revenue department. The letter was not copied to any other concerned official not even Tehsildar Mankote which clarifies that Naib Tehsildar Mohd Munir Qazi may have some nexus with the land grabbers, sources said. Taking the cognizance of the matter sub Divisional Magistrate Thakur Sher Singh lambasted Naib Tehsildar for his lackadaisical approach instead he should have made efforts to stop the construction on the farm land he wrote a letter to Sheep Department which is ridiculous, said SDM. When contacted District Development Commissioner M H Malik told Early Times that if FIR stands against the accused they should have been booked by now. He directed SDPO Shahid Naeem to immediately swung into action and retrieve the encroached land of Sheep farm. He also directed Tehsildar Mankote to demarcate the said land of the sheep farm. |
