Jammu, July 20: Water Works (PHE) Employees Association (WWEA) today staged protest demonstration outside Chief Engineer Office BC Road Jammu, demanding regularization of their services.
According to press release, a large number of PHE workers assembled in PHE complex and staged protest demonstration, amid raising slogans against state government and in favour of their demands.
Addressing the protesters, the leaders said that the future of thousands of daily wagers, ITI, CP workers, need base workers has been still handing in balance, despite the fact that they have put numerous years of their lives in the service of department.They also expressed concern over the apathy and non concern about the convening of Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting for all cadres.
Their demands include regularization of daily wagers, release of pending wages of daily wagers, benefit of SRO 43 beside others.
