| Youth of Jagti highlight demands | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 12: Youth of Jagti Migrant Colony highlighted their various issues during a meeting held here today and urged the state government to mitigate their demands as soon as possible.
They demanded an overall boundary wall of the migrant camp of Jagti adding that both the entry and exist points were without any checking and any one can enter the camp anytime which is very risky due to security point of view, so the fencing of the camp was important. Secondly they urged the state government to recruit educated youth in J&K Police force. There were many educated youth without any job in the camp and on spot recruitment drive be launched to absorb them in the police. They further demanded that the condition of 40-bedded hospital is very pathetic- patients from camp and outside too do not get any medical facility in the hospital where as the staff of the hospital itself face dearth of ordinary drugs they said, adding that measures should be taken to mitigate the demands of youth at the earliest of the migrant community. |
