| BJP ministers, leaders ignore repeated warning of worsening Poonch situation | | |

JAMMU, Sept 12: Enjoying all luxuries of power first time in the history of J&K BJP leaders could not spare time to visit border town of Poonch where valiant security forces have foiled terrorists' game plan to create havoc on the auspicious occasion of Eid.
Power hungry BJP leaders are so busy that they have no time to visit Poonch town to boost morale of the nationalist forces. There is strong anger among residents of Poonch, especially minority community against apathetic attitude of the BJP leadership.
Minority communities in Poonch town have gripped with fear and uncertainty after some unidentified persons lobbed grenade on the pilgrims of Budha Amarnath. And Sunday'sterror incident in the town has further compounded fear of the minority community. But unfortunately none of the BJP leader, especially BJP ministers spared time from their ever-busy schedule to visit Poonch town to boost sagging morale of the minority communities. BJP ministers have enough time to sit with power brokers and transfer agents but for the residents of Poonch, who have been facing threats of anti-national elements, BJP leaders are over-busy.
Sources said that minority communities of Poonch have repeatedly brought many issues before senior BJP leaders and ministers but after attaining power BJP has adopted apathetic attitude towards nationalist people. After grenade attack on pilgrims of Budha Amarnath in the month of August, members of the minority community had cautioned BJP leaders against worsening law and order situation in Poonch but BJP ministers adopted causal approach. |
