| 'Liberate management of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir from clutches of illegal trust ' | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 12: Shri Lakshmi Narayan Samaj Sevak & People Welfare Samiti, Gandhi Nagar today alleged mismanagement of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar and the efforts being made by the Samiti to liberate the management of Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir from the clutches of the present illegal and un-constitutionally and presently headed by a Expelled Congress Minister.
In a press conference held today, by the Convenors S.P. Sapolia, & Sh.D.K. Sharma while briefing the press about the ongoing Shree "Ganesh Mahaotsav" in the premises of Shree Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Gandhi Nagar Jammu, informed that the Mahaostav is being organized by the Vedic Sansthan Jammu from the last year in the said Mandir as the space is provided by the Lakshmi Narayan Mandir committee and no other place is provided by Govt. in Jammu city to organize the Ganesh Mahaotsav which starts from 5th Sept, 2016 to 15th Sept, 2016. But this time existing committee of Shree Lakshmi Narayan Mandir imposed some restriction on the organizers and not allowed them to install the idol of Lord Ganesha in right direction with the motive not to open back side gate of Mandir which is against the " Vastu Sastra".
They also said that it is against the preaching of "Sanatan Dharm" with the result people of Jammu particularly the residents of Gandhi Nagar are against this move of the existing committee of Shree Lakshmi Narayan Minder Gandhi Nagar. D.K. Sharma informed that this year the existing Management Committee of Shree Lakshmi Narayan Mandier was not ready to open the back side Gate of the said which is commonly used by the devotees in religious occasions . This move was opposed by the residents of Gandhi Nagar/ General public and with the intervention of the administration the gate got opened which reflects the mindset of the illegal management committee.
He further said, that this year the organizers of Ganesh Mahaotsav have not allowed to continue religious programmes after 10.30 p.m. whereas last year the programmes continued upto midnight. It clearly shows that the Mandir Committee is not co-operating with the organizers. |
