| JKPCC condemns militants' attack | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 12: Strongly condemning the militants attack at Poonch in which one policeman sacrificed his life and two others injured, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) has expressed grave concern over the incident near the army installations in the heart of Poonch city.
In a statement issued today, PCC chief spokesman Ravinder Sharma paid rich tributes to the martyr policeman and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family and two policemen injured and lauded the role of security forces and army for eliminating terrorists while safely rescuing the couple Nazir Hussian Mir and his wife belonging to a well known Congress family from inside the building.
He appreciated the role of local population in extending full co-operation to army in this regard, as a result the forces could thwart designs of enemy.
Sharma expressed serious concern over the increase of militants presence in border area indicating the designs of Pakistan and ISI and cautioned the people of this border belt to remain vigilant in order to defeat the designs of inimical forces. |
