Marketing checking sleuths collects fine upto Rs 233160 in 04 days 9/12/2016 11:24:26 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 12: The special checking squads comprising officers of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department Legal Metrology, Drug & Food Control Organization, Revenue and Police Department conducted surprise checking cum inspected business establishment across Jammu division and realized fine upto the tune of Rs 233160/- out of 1934 inspections in last four days during auspicious Eid festivity. Official spokesperson said, "The owners of all commercial establishments have been warned not to violate the provisions of Essential Commodities Act and adhere to the norms and rates notified from time to time." "Further, he said that the Department has already established control room and notified its help line numbers alongwith the contact numbers of the Assistant Director of different districts of the Division.
