| NPSU for CBI inquiry of appointments made during tenure of current VC CUJ | | |  Early Times Report
jammu, Nov 5: NPSU demanded CBI inquiry of all the appointment made during tenure of present VC of Central University Jammu.
Addressing media persons, State president Thakur Virender Singh said that this was really matter of concern that all the rules have been violated for appointment of post of Assistant Professor and Non Gazetted Post at Central University Jammu.
He lambasted that on one handUGC guidelines states that no contractual employees can hold the administrative and financial position at University and on other hand VC have violated the norms by asking the contractual employees to be part of interview committee conducted for various gazette and Non-gazzeted posts.
He also said VC must come clean about the fact that why the list of short listed candidates uploaded on CUJ website was changed 4-5 times.
He urged the Governor of J&K to intervene in this issue and a CBI inquiry must be initated in order inquire the matter and public must know about the violation of UGC norms.
NPSU warned the state government if the said demands are not fulfilled then NPSU is going to launched full-fledged agitation against VC Central University.
