Srinagar, Nov 5: After educational institutions, a panchayat ghar building was gutted under mysterious fire in the central Kashmir district of Badgam, official sources said here today.
They said fire broke out in a panchayat ghar at Chadoora in Badgam district late last night. However, timely action by the local residents and fire tenders saved the fire from spreading to other parts of the building.
Some damage was caused to windows, they said adding no one was injured.
Meanwhile, a boutique shops suffered some damage when a petrol bomb was hurled by some unidentified miscreants at Chadoora. No one was hurt, they said. |
