| | Jammu, Nov 5: To promote the traditional culture of J&K Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) staged 128th Saturday series dogri musical play "Sadi Laddo" in collaboration with Sangam Tru Art Production & ESRM as parts of its regular feature at Durga Bhawan Janipur Jammu. The artistes of BLSKS & STAP also attended the workshop on the theme of "Beti Bachao Beti Padao" at Women College Parde , Jammu which was organized by Song & Drama Division , Ministry of information of broadcasting Govt. of India to aware the masses on the theme. The programe was inaugurated by the Chief guest Chief Guest V.K.Magotra, former regional director, directorate of field publicity , Government of India. Dr. A.C.Bhagat , former chief officer department of animal husbandry, J&K Government & J.K.Raina, Producer , Director Films, were the guest of honors. Speaking on the occasion chief guest lauding the role of Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan-(NGO) and underlined the importance of staging such plays in all parts of the state to generate awareness among the masses about various social evils through theatre/drama which are still very powerful medium of communication. |
